Head Downforce MIPS Helmet The Head Downforce MIPS Helmet is designed for skiers and racers who want trusted head protection, secure fit, and confidence in demanding mountain conditions. With lightweight strength, damp, powerful stability, and advanced impact protection, this ski helmet helps deliver reliable performance for long days on the mountain. Hardshell Technology: Known for its durability and excellent impact protection, this technology is used in our race and rental helmets to ensure long-lasting safety and performance RD Construction: The RD construction incorporates a carbon reinforcement in the front area of the helmet to endure repeated impacts from slalom poles. Additionally, a thin yet robust transparent foil, akin to those used in the automotive sector, further shields against slalom pole impacts, enhancing overall protection MIPS: The MIPS Brain Protection System is a helmet-integrated, low-friction layer designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head Thermal Ventilation: Smart integrated system that releases warm air while blocking cold drafts — for a balanced helmet climate without the need to adjust anything Chinguard Compatible: Easily attach a chinguard to our race helmets—perfect for added protection during slalom runs FIS RH 2013: These helmets comply with FIS GS/SG/DH helmet regulations
